Frances Firth developed a career as a sculptor following her study at the Birmingham College of Art.
Now sculpting pets, dogs cats, horses whatever your pet Frances Firth will sculpt it.
Previously Frances spent 20 years developing new products for a ‘Stratford Stone’ a Garden Architecture company in Nuneaton, Stratford Stone where one of the largest suppliers of Garden Ornaments to some of the biggest outlets in the UK including, ASDA, B&Q and Wyevale Garden Centres.
With such a background it is perhaps not surprising that her sculptural work is both detailed and figurative having sculptured a wide range of human subjects, animals, floral designs, unique garden fountains, the Shakespeare series, including restoration projects and private commissions.
Frances sculpts in all mediums including clay and bronze, her work has been varied. You can see the skill of her craftsmanship when we scrutinise such work as the challenging restoration project she undertook to complete the restoration of the ‘Coventry Coat of Arms’ situated in the restored ‘Old Court House’, Coventry, very near Coventry Cathedral. See her Gallery and Restoration pages.
